Can you leave a dust house in a chinchilla’s cage?
like can you have a dust house in the cage like every day?

A chinchilla should only have a dust bath 2-3 times a week, for 10-15 minutes at a time. You can give it slightly more often if you live in an area with higher humidity and you see that the chins fur isn’t looking as good as it might.
Leaving the dust bath in the cage will not damage your chins fur, but it can dry our the chins skin causing flaking and itching. They also pee and poop in their dust, and that will end up being what they roll in. Not exactly hygienic or helpful.
Good dust is also expensive. You want to use it when it’s needed, not just throw it away by it being used for bedding.
