I have no idea what to do my bird layed and egg and it has no partner what should i do in this case?
If the egg is not fertile do i just leave it with the keet?
The egg is not fertile if there is no male present You should leave the egg alone until she looses interest at least 2 wks If you remove it right away chances are she will only lay more which she may any way but if you remove them to soon she will just keep laying and that will deplete her nutrients make sure to give her cuttle bone and keep her calcium up When you do remove the egg it would be best to rearrange the cage move the toys around etc. this should keep her from laying again soon Right now is breeding season it could be she is mating with a toy or perch make sure she doesn’t have any type of hut or toy that she would consider a box
