Canary Parakeet Cockatiel

Bird Dummy Needs Some Help?
Okay, so for a while now I’ve been wanting a bird, but I only know the…I don’t know what to call them, basic? Popularized, common? Whatever, all I know is, Finches, Canaries, Budie/parakeets, macaw, conures, and the Cockatiel.
I don’t know of any others and I can’t type it into google because it brings up every bird species in the world and I can’t navigate.
So what other birds are there that make good pets?
Ones that don’t blast your ears until they bleed
are on the smaller side but nothing tiny like a finch, and nothing huge like a macaw.
Ones that like to be out and bond to you.
Basically a friendly, everyday, loving bird?
That doesn’t cost $900. I would rather spend 900 total than just on the bird and then accessories.
Also could someone link a site that offers information on pet birds? Or link a site for information on the bird(s) you posted that would be good.
Be aware that any parrot requires a lot of attention from you.
You mentioned budgies and cockatiels, which make excellent pets, aren’t too difficult to manage and are inexpensive.
Budgies (aka parakeets, in the US):

Some other birds that wouldn’t be too difficult to manage, nor too loud, include (roughly from smallest to largest):
parrotlets:

lineolated parakeeets:

Pyrrhura conures (the quiet conures – most commonly green-cheeked and maroon-bellied):

lovebirds (may be a bit noisy):

quaker or monk (may be a bit noisy):

poicephalus (e.g., Senegal or Meyers)(may be a bit noisy):

Bourke’s parakeet (uncommon outside Australia):

Mallee ringneck (uncommon outside Australia):

pionus (not cuddly):

Prices on most of these depend on where you are, but they should be within your budget. Even the ones marked “may be a bit noisy” aren’t all that loud – for parrots.
