Bird Cockatiel Glider

Help with my Gliders Diet?
Okay so my Sugar Gliders ran out of their pellets this mourning so I went to the pet store to get some more but they didn’t have any and I needed something for them to eat in the mourning so I asked the guy who worked there and he told me I could buy some cockatiel food. Its called fruit blend flavor the company is ZuPreem. I asked him if it would still give them the stuff they get from their pellets and he said it would so does anyone know if this is good for them. The guy told me they could eat it and get the same nutrition they get from their pellets. I just want to make sure because it is for birds not Sugar Gliders.
The diet that you’re feeding (Pellets) is NOT good for them to have. Gliders are sap suckers and so they don’t get much out of pellets.. Pellets are only good to leave in the cage during the day so that they can have a little snack should they wake up , but at night they need to be provided with a GOOD diet.
You might consider checking out Glidercentral.net, and looking up diets such as BML, HPW, Blended diet, Mix & Match diet…. BML is by far the easiest to follow, if you’re looking for easy.
DO NOT trust what people at pet stores tell you as most of the time, they don’t know what they’re talking about. I walked in once and asked a man at the pet store who swore he had sugar gliders what toys would be good for them, and he recommended wood toys made out of PINE (which is VERY toxic for sugar gliders).
